Although the internet boasts an ease of anonymity, I would like to extend to you a little bit about myself and my family and how I became the sole proprietor of "Mommie's Little Peanut Shoppe" here at Mommies Little Peanut .com.
My Family
My name is Michelle Tate. I am the owner of Mommie's Lil Peanut Shoppe. I am a US Navy veteran Nuclear Electrician. I have a wonderful husband who is still Active Duty in the US Navy. We are currently located in Wilton, NY, just outside beautiful Saratoga Springs. My husband's tour here will be ending this fall and we will be relocating to Georgia. We are very excited to be back down in the warm weather of the south! (Although we are both originally from very northern states!)
We have an adorably fiesty 1 year old daughter, Emily. She was born to me 4 weeks early and truly was the littlest "peanut" I had ever seen at 4 1/2 pounds. She is now at the stage of wanting to be very "helpful" to Mommie. She gets very excited when new stock arrives and must frantically help me open and unpack everything. Our Boppy products and Happy Heinys excite her the most- as these are items she recognizes quite well (and she is able to say "BOPPY" and "DeePees= diapers). She is fascinated by packing tape,cardboard boxes,and her "me-do"s, so all packages are individually wrapped by my daughter and I- with LOVE!
My Business
My company started as a small Ebay business last year. After testing the "auction" waters with a small variety of products and ending the year feeling unfulfilled, I turned to the things I knew about the best- baby products! (With a daughter who is spoiled rotten, we probably own nearly every conceivable gadget for new parents and babies!) After several months I decided to branch away from the safety of Ebay and start my own web store front. I know all about the long hours of shopping around the internet for the items I want or need, and how that becomes less and less possible when a little peanut comes along. I decided to start this business to help new mothers obtain all the best gear for their new "lil peanuts" in one convenient place.
Thus, 'Mommie's Lil Peanut Shoppe' was born!
I am so proud to introduce all of our new product lines!
